FRESHMAN (2010) - Started all 17 games as a freshman for the Eagles... Scored two goals in debut season...Tallied first collegiate goal in second match of the year against Jacksonville (9-7)...Scored again versus UNC Greensboro (10-10)...Made three assists on the year...Recorded an assist in first colegiate match versus USC Upstate (9-1)...Also tallied assists against N.C. State (10-5) and Winthrop (9-19)...Took 25 shots with 15 on frame...Played 1,413 total minutes including the maximum on five occasions.

NPSL - Played with FC Sonic of the National Premier Soccer League in the summer of 2010.

HIGH SCHOOL - Four-year letterman for Coach Chip Warren at Greenbrier High School in Evans, Ga....Led team to the state quarterfinals all four years, advancing to the semifinals as a freshman in 2007...Two-time Columbia County News Times Player of the Year (2009, 2010)...Named MVP of his team as a junior and a senior...Named Augusta Chronicle Area Player of the Year in 2010...Was team captain his senior year...Played club soccer for the Augusta Arsenal...Led the team to the State Cup Semifinals in 2007, 2008 and 2010.

PERSONAL - Born Hunter William Norton on June 12, 1992 in Statesboro, Ga....Son of Tom and Susan Norton...Father played soccer at the University of South Carolina and coached at Georgia Southern from 1990-2003, serving as the men’s head coach from 1990-95 and the women’s head coach from 1995-2003...One moment in history he would like to see is the first moon landing...Craziest ambition is to drive an Indy car...People would be surprised to know he likes to read a lot...Favorites: Pro team – Ajax FC; Sports figure – Landon Donovan; Musical artist – Hootie and the Blowfish; Sports announcer – Ian Darke...Majoring in psychology.
