BJ Johnson - 2013

FRESHMAN (2011): Joined the team in spring and will start his eligibility in the fall of 2012... Started in the spring game for the Blue team... Caught a 75 yard pass from Jerick McKinnon to secure the win for the Blue squad... Finished with two catches for 89 yards and one score.

PREP: Played for head coach Brian Lane at Woodruff High School in Woodruff, S.C... Lettered four times and served as team captain during his senior campaign... Finalist for Spartanburg Herald Player of the Year award... Selected to the Shrine Bowl All-Star game... Two-time All-State and Spartanburg Herald All-Area Team Selection... Rewrote the Woodruff High School receiving records for both a single-season and career... Finished with 165 career receptions for 2,780 yards and 30 touchdowns... Named South Carolina Region 2-AA Player of the Year after recording 80 receptions for nearly 1,500 yards and 15 touchdowns his senior year... Had 63 receptions for 992 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior.
