WYOMING: Started his career with the Wyoming Cowboys in 2008... transferred to Georgia Southern following the 2010 season.

PREP: Played for head coach Rick Youkers at Poudre High School in Ft. Collins, Colo... Selected as a 4A Second Team All-State linebacker by the Rocky Mountain News... Selected as a First Team Front Range League Linebacker by the Denver Post... An All-Conference and All-StateĀ  selection following both his junior and senior seasons... Participated in the 2008 Colorado Coaches All-State Game... Recorded 85 tackles, had 10 sacks and recovered a fumble during his senior campaign... Also caught two passes for 26 yards on the offensive side of the ball... Made 87 tackles and recorded three sacks during his junior season... Served as a team captain onĀ  both the football and basketball squads his senior year... Lettered all four years in both basketball and football.

PERSONAL: Born Trevor O'Neil Shaw on September 6, 1989 in Alpharetta, Ga but moved to Laramie, Wyo. before his family settled in Fort Collins, Colo... Son of Rachel Cashin and Neil Shaw... Father played basketball at the University of Miami.

MAJOR: Marketing with a minor in International Studies.
