JUNIOR (2012): Great pass rusher provides experience and depth at defensive end… Played in 10 games… Came in to help Brent Russell drop ODU’s Taylor Heinicke on a big 4th and one play… Shook off Monarch offensive lineman to charge Heinicke on dangerous 4th and 6 play late in fourth quarter, forcing him to throw off-balance for incompletion… Tallied sack in Jacksonville opener, pushing Dolphins back six yards… Shared a sack of Samford quarterback with Dion DuBose and credited with a QB hurry late in the game… Made two solo tackles in second-half action at Western Carolina… Had pass breakup vs. Howard… Vertical leap of 40.5” is tied for third on the Iron Works all-time list.
SOPHOMORE (2011): Crowned Mr. GSU in the spring... Played in five games, including the first three games of the year... Registered a tackle against Tusculum (9-10) and assisted with a sack... Also played against Samford, Western Carolina, Furman and Presbyterian... Posted three tackles and a stop for a loss for the White team in the spring game.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2010): Saw action in 10 games... Sacked William & Mary quarterback for a loss of 12 yards in Eagle playoff win... Also had a quarterback hurry against the Tribe... Totaled four solo tackles and six assisted tackles... Had two assisted tackles at Western Carolina and in Wofford playoff game... Picked up a half of a sack vs. Elon... Registered a pass broken up at Furman.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered three years in football, and two each in lacrosse and basketball... Played for Joe Teknipp... Team captain as a junior and senior... School record for sacks in a game (6) as a senior... All-Region and All-Southern Crescent pick... Named to inaugural Southern Crescent All-Star team and recorded 12 tackles with three tackles for loss and four sacks... MVP of lacrosse team as a sophomore at Terry Parker High School (Jacksonville, Fla.).

Grandmother had the biggest influence on his life because of her unrelenting effort to provide for her family while going to earn her bachelor’s degree...
