PREP: Played for head coach Blair Armstrong at North Forsyth High School in Cumming, Ga... Three time All-County Kicker selection and an All-Region pick in 2010 and 2011... Lettered three times in football and once in baseball... Finished his high school career 49 for 53 on extra points and 11 for 16 in field goals... Hit a long field goal of 46 yards his junior campaign and went 20 for 21 in PATs... Went 20 four for five in field goals his sophomore season and 3 for 5 in his senior season... Won the Susan B. McGregor scholarship.
PERSONAL: Born Cole Mitchell Allison on January 3, 1994 in Memphis, Tenn... Son of Joe and Amy Allison... Has two siblings Lane and Reece... Joe was the first-ever Lou Groza Award winner in 1992... He played four seasons (1990-93) with the Memphis Tigers and left holding school records in consecutive extra points made, single season field goals made, single season scoring and still ranks third all-time in career points... Joe’s first cousin was 1992 Daytona 500 winner Davey Allison... Joe went on to sign as an undrafted free agent for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1994.
