Larry Beard Named UPC Lineman of the Week

STATESBORO, Ga. – Larry Beard (Fairburn/Sandy Creek), a junior defensive end for Georgia Southern, received the inaugural Georgia Utilities Protection Center "Lineman of the Week".

A Second Team Preseason All-Southern Conference pick Beard finished with five tackles, including one sack, in the 45-21 win over West Georgia.
