Bulloch County/Statesboro ADA Dinner, Auction & Golf Tournament
Only a limited number of spots are available for the ADA Golf Tournament on Friday, May 6th, but Eagle fans are invited to join Georgia Southern Football coaches and former Eagle greats on Thursday, May 5th, for a Low Country Boil dinner and silent auction.
The dinner and auction Thursday evening supports the efforts of Georgia Southern Head Coach Jeff Monken and local celebrity businessman Bubba Hunt as the representatives of the Bulloch County/Statesboro ADA "Kiss-a-Pig" campaign. The event will be held at SpringHill Suites on Fair Road/Ga. Hwy. 67 and the Veterans Memorial bypass The dinner is $15 per person with cash or checks (made out to ADA) accepted at the door. Doors to the banquet hall open at 6 p.m.
On Thursday evening, golf threesomes signed up for Friday's tournament can bid on a celebrity player from a list of Georgia Southern former football greats as well as Eagle Head Coach Jeff Monken to complete their foursomes. Teams meet at 1 p.m. at the Forest Heights Country Club on Friday, May 6th for the ADA Golf Tournament. Play begins at 2 p.m. with a shotgun start.
Registration for a three-person team is $300 for the dinner and golf tournament with proceeds supporting the Bulloch County/Statesboro team of Bubba Hunt and Coach Monken in the American Diabetes Association "Kiss-a-Pig" Campaign.
