SPARTANBURG METHODIST: Played two seasons for head coach Tim Wallace at Spartanburg Methodist in Spartanburg, S.C... Hit .299 with three home runs and 38 RBIs his sophomore season... Helped the Pioneers to a region 10 conference championship, a district title and a JUCO World Series appearance.

PREP:  Lettered three times for Wando High School in Mount Pleasant, S.C... Played for head coach Jeff Blankenship... Named All-State, All-Region and Team MVP senior year... Helped the Warriors to a State Runner-Up finish his junior year... While at Wando the team also finished as District champions three times, region champions twice and lower-state champions his junior year.
