JUNIOR (2012): Redshirted after missing the season with a leg injury.
SOPHOMORE (2011): Appeared in 40 games with 15 starts in the outfield and hit .222/.355/.238 with four RBIs... Entered a number of contests as a late-game defensive sub... Started three of the first four games including the season opener against George Washington (2/18)... Went two-for-five with two runs and a RBI in the series finale against Samford (3/20)... Earned two hits against Charleston Southern (5/4), including a double and a walk-off single in the 11th inning... Also picked up two hits at Appalachian State (5/19) in the series opener.
FRESHMAN (2010): Named to the SoCon All-Freshman Team after hitting .313/.408/.365 and driving in 30 runs in 58 games... Posted a .408 on-base percentage and walked 28 times to only 29 strikeouts... Started in all but one contest and played primarily in left field... Started 52 games at one of the corner outfield spots but also started in center field five times... Served as the squad’s leadoff hitter in 34 contests... Committed only four errors and recorded five outfield assists for a .963 fielding percentage... Recorded 17 multi-hit games and 4 multi-RBI games... Tallied a season-best 9 game hitting streak from March 2nd at North Florida to March 16 at Kennesaw State.. Hit .343 with three doubles and six RBIs during the streak... Opened the season and his career against Tennessee Tech (2/19) with two hits and a walk... PREP: Played for head coach Eddy Householder at Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Ga... Lettered in varsity baseball three times and served as team captain for the Patriots... Drafted in the 38th round by the Kansas City Royals as a shortstop in 2009... Played with Braxton Lane at Sandy Creek, who was a seventh round pick in the same draft...
