Fourth All-American Honor Crosses the Wire for Victor Roache

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern Baseball's Victor Roache picked up his fourth All-American Honor on Thursday, June 16th. The sophomore outfielder was selected a Second Team All-American by Perfect Game after hitting .326 with 30 home runs and 84 RBIs.

The Ypsilanti, Mich. native was previously selected as a First Team All-American by Baseball America, Louisville Slugger and the National Baseball Writers Association. He was also the Southern Conference's Player of the Year and leads the nation in home runs.

Roache set new Georgia Southern and Southern Conference single season home run records and was twice named the SoCon's Player of the Month while helping Georgia Southern to a Southern Conference Tournament Championship and a berth in the NCAA Columbia Regional.

He is currently playing summer baseball in the Cape Cod League for the Cotuit Kettleers.
