The GSU Sports Medicine Center underwent an impressive remodeling phase in 1998 within its Hanner Fieldhouse location and features state-of-the-art equipment for the treatment and rehabilitation of injuries.


The Georgia Southern Sports Medicine Department, under the direction of Brandy Petty oversees the medical needs for all 15 Eagle teams. Eleven certified athletic trainers work with athletes to prevent and rehabilitate injuries.

The facility incorporates the latest advances and resources in sports medicine technology, including a complete hydra-therapy area and a large collection of student-athlete treatment stations.
