STATESBORO, Ga. – The Georgia Southern Men’s Tennis team (3-2) is finally coming home after five straight matches on the road. The Eagles take on East Carolina (7-1) on Friday at 2 p.m. and continue their weekend home stand with Central Florida (5-4) on Sunday at 10 a.m. The Eagles will be signing posters for fans at the conclusion of Friday’s match.
"Were definitely excited to get on our home courts,” said Coach Nick Zieziula. "We had some good tests on the road and it will be good to have the crowd behind us."
Last weekend the Eagles beat Winthrop 4-1 on Friday before falling to Upstate with the same numbers on Sunday.
The Eagles have two more home matches next week on March 2 and 3 against Wofford and Bethune-Cookman before they hit the road again. On March 2 promotional items such as beanies and towels will be handed out to fans and there will be special activities for Junior Eagle Club members.
