Eagles Report to Fall Camp on August 7th

STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Men’s Soccer returns to Statesboro on August 7th for the opening of preseason training camp. The Eagles first day of practice comes a day later with a pair of training sessions at Eagle Field starting at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., respectively.

GSU then takes the show to the Fair Road Practice Complex for the next four days of practice sessions while keeping the same start times. Training sessions are open to the public.

The Eagles are back at Eagle Field for four days before the first preseason friendly on Friday, August 17th, against Georgia Military College. The final preseason match of the 2012 campaign comes on Monday, August 20th, against Lander with both outings starting at 4 p.m.

The 2012 regular season opener comes on Sunday, August 26th, at UAB starting at 2 p.m. (ET).

Eagle Field is located in the Erk Russell Athletic Park which is home to Paulson Stadium. The Fair Road Training Complex is located adjacent to the football practice fields near the intersection of Fair Road and Tillman Road.
