Men’s Tennis Earns Five ITA Scholar Athlete Awards
STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Men’s Tennis was honored with five student-athletes achieving ITA Scholar Athlete honors for the 2011-12 academic year. The award, given by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, honors student-athletes that excel in the classroom.
"Our team has worked very hard in the classroom and it is great to see so many members recognized for their hard work," said Head Coach Nick Zieziula.
Sebastian Felt, Alain Garrido, Matthijs Verdam, Albert Codina Sala and Kyle Hoffman each earned ITA All-Academic Honors posting over a 3.50 GPA for the 2011-12 season.
