STATESBORO, Ga. - Due to the Georgia Southern Men's Basketball game Saturday (Feb. 28) at Davidson now at 2 p.m., the Eagle Baseball game has been moved to 107.3 FM.
The Eagles' basketball game at Davidson will air starting at 1:30 p.m. (pregame) on Eagle 102.9 FM, tipoff scheduled for 2 p.m. Chris Blair and Frank Kerns will call the action.
Georgia Southern's baseball game against Coppin State will air starting at 2 p.m. (pregame) on WMCD 107.3 FM, first pitch scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Ryan Chambers will call the action. The Friday night (7 p.m.) and Sunday afternoon (1:30 p.m.) baseball games will be carried live on Eagle 102.9.
Every game can also be heard via the internet on www.GeorgiaSouthernEagles.com.
Cheerleader for a Day set for February 9th

Eagle Sports Marketing and GSU cheerleading are teaming up for the Second Annual “Cheerleader for a Day”. Both of the Georgia Southern Cheerleading squads, CO-ED and All Girl, will be hosting the "Cheerleader for a Day" fundraiser on Saturday February 9th, 2008 for the Men’s Basketball Game against UTC.
All registered participants will learn a routine and perform with the Eagle Cheerleaders at Halftime of the Basketball Game. They will also receive a dinner( Pizza and drinks) , a t-shirt, pom poms, spirit band, a picture with GUS and the cheerleaders, and a free ticket to the game. Dinner is included into the cost of the camp.
Registration is $25 before February 6th and $35 the day of the event, all proceeds will go to the GSU Cheerleading squads. The event is open to youth ages 5-14, no experience necessary. "Inside Georgia Southern Football" with Jeff Monken is a half-hour television program featuring football game highlights, commentary from head coach Jeff Monken and host former Eagle great Terry Harvin, and behind the scenes action of Eagle Football. "Inside Georgia Southern Football" is broadcast in Savannah on WGSA every Sunday night at 10 p.m. and airs every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. on SportSouth. The show is available on the official athletic department website www.GeorgiaSouthernEagles.com at noon on Tuesdays following the TV broadcast.

The program recaps the previous week's action, scouts the upcoming opponent and discusses the Georgia Southern program and the Eagle players.
