Bruster’s Real Ice Cream and Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs have teamed up with Georgia Southern Athletics and Eagle Sports Marketing to present the Junior Eagle Club for the 2009-2010 season. As the presenting sponsor, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream and Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs continue the traditional perks included with a Junior Eagle Club membership as well adding new items and events. Bruster’s Real Ice and Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs will host ice cream socials at selected Georgia Southern home athletics events for all Junior Eagle Club members.
A fun and exciting way for children to be involved with Georgia Southern Athletics, the Junior Eagle Club offers value over and above the price of the membership. An annual membership is $15 per child and includes free admission to several Georgia Southern Athletics events. By signing your child up for the Junior Eagle Club, they become eligible for many privileges exclusive to members. In addition to the official Junior Eagle Club membership card and goodie bag, benefits for the 2009-2010 season include:
- Bi-weekly newsletter with fun features and interviews with Eagle student-athletes and coaches
- Exclusive links to games and puzzles on GeorgiaSouthernEagles.com
- Birthday Wish from GUS
- Invitations to Junior Eagle Club events through out the 2009-2010 season

Baseball
All Sunday home games and Junior Eagle Club members may run the bases after the Sunday games.

The Junior Eagle Club is available for children up to the age of 12. Priced at only $15 per child for an annual membership, the Junior Eagle Club offers free admission into several Georgia Southern Athletics events as well as an official membership card and goodie bag. October 24th, Georgia Southern vs. Samford at 2 p.m.
Volleyball

Kickoff at the Statesboro Mall Set for Saturday

STATESBORO, Ga. - Representatives of the Georgia Southern Athletics Department and fan-favorite mascot GUS will be on hand this Saturday (Aug. 29) at the Statesboro Mall to kickoff the 2009 fall season. The event will take place from 1-3 p.m. and open to the public.
GUS and members of Eagle Sports Marketing will be handing out schedule cards and posters for: football, volleyball and men's and women's soccer. Fans will also have the opportunity to play the newest college football video game, NCAA 2010 Football on Xbox.

Junior Golf and Strength and Speed Camps Cancelled

STATESBORO, Ga. - Two upcoming camps at Georgia Southern have been cancelled for summer 2010. The Junior Golf camp and Strength and Speed camp will not be held on their originally scheduled dates. Details about possible future dates will be released when available.
