Athletics Announces 2011-2012 Eagle Vision Service

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern Athletics announces new Eagle Vision video service packages for the 2011 Eagle Football, Soccer and Volleyball seasons. The subscription-based service offers fans the ability to view live webcasts of Georgia Southern home events. Audio broadcasts of Eagle Football are offered as a free service on GeorgiaSouthernEagles.com/Eaglevision.

Four different price packages will be available on Eagle Vision for fans this year. There are single-game, one-time payment options that allow for live viewing and on-demand replay for 24 hours after the event. Two separate volleyball tournaments packages are available for $24.95 each. Georgia Southern Volleyball will play host to the SpringHill Suites Invitational and the Bash in the 'Boro tournament in 2011. Fans of all of the competing institutions can purchase the $24.95 packages which include live and on demand viewing of each tournament match.

Justin Baker, beginning his third year calling play-by-play for Eagle Volleyball, will be behind the mic for each of Eagles' eight games in the respective tournaments and continue to call each of the Eagles' home volleyball matches throughout the 2011 season.

The 2011-2012 Eagle Vision package list also includes monthly and season options, which offer access to all streamed Eagle home events as well as select away games.

The monthly subscription is $9.95 with an automatic renewal. This options offer live and on-demand viewing of streamed Eagle home events, which include football, volleyball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball and baseball with 24-hour, seven-day-a-week on-demand access during the term of the subscription.

Each of the soccer and volleyball home video streams this year will be available as a one-time payment event for $4.95 each. Home football games can be purchased for $7.95 each with accompanying audio from the Georgia Southern Radio Network broadcast team of play-by-play talent, Chris Blair, color analyst, Terry Harvin and sideline reporter, Ryan Chambers. The trio begins their sixth year calling Eagle Football together this season.

Men's and Women's Soccer can be purchased as a season pass for $24.95 and an Eagle Volleyball season pass is available for $59.95. In addition to the soccer and volleyball season packages, fans can purchase a season package for all Eagle Football regular season home games for 39.95. Should football games become unavailable due to other broadcast rights agreements, refunds will be issued.

Eagle Vision can be accessed at GeorgiaSouthernEagles.com/Eaglevision to listen to the audio broadcasts or to sign up for a video package.

Along with subscription based-events, Eagle Vision also offers free on-demand access to video of select interviews, including football, soccer and volleyball post-game interviews and select video features and interviews with Georgia Southern coaches and student-athletes.
